Laura Fries
Laura Fries is the Web Director and Editor for the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies [AAN.org]. Prior to working for AAN, Laura worked as a reporter and editor at the San Antonio Current, Tampa’s Creative Loafing, and at the Atlanta-based Creative Loafing, Inc. as web editor for the chain. She’s an avid traveler, cook, and blogger; chronicling those obsessions and more at LauraFries.com.
Cathy Resmer
Cathy Resmer is the first online editor at Seven Days in Burlington, Vermont. She started writing for Seven Days as a freelancer in 2001, and started its first blog, 802 Online, in April of 2005 (802 is Vermont’s only area code). Cathy always wanted to be a writer, and majored in English in college; everything she knows about computers and the Internet she learned on her own, mostly by sitting in front of a screen and pressing buttons, sometimes randomly.
